  Our Green Mission

We are appreciative of your support of Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. We are all fortunate to be able to visit, vacation, play, live, and / or work in one of nature's most beautiful recreational areas. The Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is committed to care & protect the lake, wildlife and surrounding wilderness areas. Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America and has a clarity of 70 feet. This means that you can see 70 feet down into its crystal clear waters. Each year the residents and visitors of Lake Tahoe work to maintain & improve that clarity; to keep Lake Tahoe pristine for future generations to enjoy.

Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is proud to be the leader in this community in hotel environmental sustainability. We continually strive to keep our planet healthy by protecting our natural resources and minimizing our carbon footprint. As a mountain resort nestled in the beautiful High Sierra, we have implemented simple, innovative, & cost-effective programs to reduce energy consumption and be environmentally friendly. We continuously consult with numerous environmental and energy-efficiency experts to help us analyze and develop additional opportunities to be a leader in environmental sustainability. And, as always, we look to partner with all our hotel visitors to keep our planet beautiful for future generations.
